Reviving old print styles

We love working with unusual techniques, print processes and special materials to produce quality printed material which stands out from the crowd.

First impressions count. Despite the ubiquity of digital communications, any business or organisation still needs well designed and professionally printed stationery. If you take the total cost of sending someone a note or invoice the cost of the design and printing of the stationery is a very small part, yet the look and feel of a good paper, envelope and business card speaks volumes about you and your organisation.

Print has evolved and adapted into two strands, the fast turnaround, cheap and cheerful versus the high quality, bespoke and tactile.

Conversely, the true cost of printing your own stationery and other materials on desktop printers can become unnecessarily expensive, you can lose out on brand consistency and the opportunity to add value through your communications with customers.

Or you may be looking for Event invitations or stationery to stand out from the crowd. We have a good library of effects and materials and are happy to discuss your requirements or make recommendations. Options include:

  • Letterpress print – looks great in single or two colour, can produce a deep impression on heavy watercolour style paper
  • Thermography – a heat transfer process which mimics the traditional die stamping or intaglio style can be cost effective for short run invitations
  • Foid stamping, die cutting and embossing can be used sparingly to great effect on covers, cards and packaging.
